The 2010 flood in Nashville affected everyone in the city and no one was spared, not even the magnificent Gaylord Opryland Hotel.  The flood waters rose several feet inside the grand hotel and left behind a muddy, gross mess.  The largest Convention Hotel in the southeast could not be taken down for long.  The executives of Gaylord jumped into action and immediately made plans to have the hotel restored and open by the holidays.

One of the major undertakings was to Pressure Wash and Seal close to 210,000 square feet of concrete, aggregated, and brick.  The water used inside had to be captured and disposed of safely.  Cliff Hatcher, owner of Anchor Pressure Washing was fortunate enough to be asked by Shaun Gross, owner of Hydr-Pro Pressure Washing, to help with the project.  Shaun also had the tremendous task of coordinating with Opryland management the difficult schedules and deadlines.

The two companies worked 32 consecutive days, 350 plus hours, to complete the project days before the grand reopening.  The work consisted of hot water cleaning, gum removal, sealing of aggregate, texture applied to surfaces for slip-resistance, and safely capturing waste water.
